UPDATE Next @CUNYirt Meeting Pushed to 12/19 12:30-2pm, Room 4202

Hi all,

The upcoming CUNYirt has been pushed back one week to Thursday December 19th 12:30-2pm

We discovered that our friends at the New Media Lab (@CUNYNewMediaLab) were scheduled for the same time and we did not want to force people to miss that meeting.

We are all welcomed to the New Media Lab Meeting (see info below the information about our meeting)

We invite old CUNYirt members and interested new folks to come and share some aspect of their work around the internet and all things digital.

This discussion will be very informal and focused on community building.

Alice Lynn McMichael: In addition to the blog and database she has constructed, Alice Lynn will be “unveiling” a new way of viewing the space she’s been researching. Documenting Cappadocia

Kevin Ambrose: Additional 3-D spaces have been constructed in Kevin’s Second Life environment: Virtually Augmented Social Skills Training

Elsie Heung: Now that the Theresa Bernstein exhibition has opened in the first floor GC gallery, Elsie can fully reveal and discuss the collaboration and her role in constructing the very attractive website that accompanies the show.

Additionally, we will spend a bit of time revisiting the discussion we began at the last meeting about the future of the NML and the formation of a committee.
